Dr. Meka Mears is a passionate educator, community leader, and administrator with over 16 years of transformational leadership experience in higher education, organizational operations, and healthcare. She currently works at the Director of Social Enterprise, Broward County, for 211 Broward. Previously, Dr. Mears was the Chief Administrative Officer for P&M Healthcare located in West Palm Beach, FL. In addition to her full-time role; Dr. Mears teaches at Barry University and Broward College as an adjunct professor where she teaches an array of composition, literature, business, and student success courses.
